6/20/2023 0 Comments Tico time resort![]() ![]() River Rafting and Stand Up Paddle Boarding: Involves initial training, safety instruction, transportation, possible swimming in rough and dangerous river conditions, slippery surfaces, uneven terrain, using a paddle, etc. May include a freefall jump from a height of up to 65’, walking up or down flights of stairs to 60’ high, climbing wall, slides, 48’ tarzan swing, and 23’ freefall jump. During the Activity, participants will be required to walk across improved and unimproved trails, which in some cases may be slippery. Ziplines & Challenge Course Acitivities: Involves sliding down a suspended cable over significant heights and uneven terrain from the top of one platform to the bottom on another platform using safety harnesses and pulleys suspended on a metal cable using a trolley. I, the above-named person, being above the age of eighteen (18) years, on behalf of myself, next of kin, heirs, guardians, assigns, personal representatives and estate and in consideration of the opportunity to participate in a Zipline, River, or other adventure experience with Tico Time River Resort, LLC (the “Company”) do hereby acknowledge, promise, agree, and covenant with Tico Time River Resort, LLC, their respective staff, affiliated companies, owners, land owners, officers, agents, members, volunteers, employees, other participants, and owners and lessees of the Premises on which the Activity is conducted, (collectively hereinafter referred to as the “RELEASEES”) as follows:ĪCTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS Participation in the Tico Time River Resort, LLC adventures and on site activities may include but not limited to the following activities: PLEASE READ IT VERY CAREFULLY AND UNDERSTAND IT BEFORE INITIALING OR SIGNING IT. ![]() He enforced rules that don't exist, but did not enforce actual rules, like the very important Fire Ban in New Mexico.NOTICE: THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. But Michael Saunders, Australian Operations Manager, made it a bad experience. The actual site is ok- it's just an RV park with a couple of ponds to play in. He was so incredibly rude that it ruined our entire experience. He also demanded we leave the property instead of staying to see the band before we continued on to Durango because he "isn't stupid and knows we are just trying to stay another night for free". NOWHERE on the website or on the literature for the "resort" that the tent camp site is walk-in only. He claimed that tent campers have to park at the top of the property and either lug all of our camping stuff about 1/2 a mile to the camp site or pay him $10 a trip to be "shuttled" across the bridge. ![]() In less than 24 hours, he drove up to us *six different times* in his huge truck, kicking up clouds of dust and harassing us. Michael Saunders rudely harassed us for driving our vehicle over the bridge to the tent camping area, despite the website saying in two different places that driving to the camping area is allowed. Our encounters with the Operations Manager were horrible. ![]()
